Do Not Mess With Fish 191,

and you thought fish were fun!

angler David Griffiths did when he hooked this super sized skate off of Oban, western Scotland, although it was considered to be a record-breaking fish this could not be confirmed as it was not weighed on the quayside or a bank which has to be done e if it is to be considered to be a record catch, but at 7ft 6in long by 6ft it was thought to weigh 235lb and was considered by the skipper of the boat that it broke the old record by 8lb,

Ronnie Campbell, the skipper of the Oban-based charter boat, the Laura Dawn II, said: 'it's a great achievement to bring in any fish over 200lbs so to land one that is 235lbs is quite something',

I was going to say where are the chips? but the good news is I cannot say that as David put the fish back in the sea, what a great once in a lifetime catch.
