We Were Up Early,

the bug men decided to call,

every month they call in and spray around the house inside and out,

we then called in at the TukCom Centre, I had run out of blue ink and paper,

after arriving back shortly after our truck reappeared, it had been for its yearly inspection as well as being taxed and insured, plus a visit to the car wash, it looked as good as new,

every year over here as a vehicle gets older the price of road tax and insurance goes down, for our 3 litre turbo charged truck fully comprehensive this years insurance bill was just under 10,000 baht (£199. $323.), road tax was 3,300 baht, (£75. $114.),  plus 300 (£6.75 $10.50.), or so baht for the governments compulsory insurance, so now we are all set to go for the next year,
the day just flew past, not the least of all because our printer decided to play up by not recognising one of the ink cartridges, so another trip to TukCom might be on the cards for tomorrow, but back to the evening, glad rags on as we were out,

Ali Baba, the Indian restaurant on Central Road, about 200 meters from Beach Road,

tonight they had rolled out the red carpet, so Diana took the pose,

inside more of the chairs had been renewed,

 in all of the rooms,

for starters what else than poppadoms with those small crunchy onions?

we followed those up with a prawn puri each,

after a break our next course arrived,
 our waiters for the evening,

'Cheers!', from all of us,

we had chosen chicken tikka masala, alobi gobi, (potatoes and cauliflower), plus some peas pulao rice,

this evening we were also joined by Harvey who ordered a selection of dishes,

we also ordered a speciality of the house, a chicken dish on a hot skillet, it was one of the dishes included that we normally have when we order the 20 thieves,

I just wish I could remember what it was called, but it like the rest of the meal was delicious,

we then made a move for home, after watching some of the new crop of Pickers we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony, then settled down for another one from Silent Witness, the second part of The Meaning of Death, by now it was late so when that finished we were off to bed.
