You had better be quick,

as one of world's last eyeball scrapers may not have an apprentice,

if you want this ancient procedure performed on you, eyeball scraping is an ancient craft, but it is slowly but surely dying out, eye cleaner Liu Deyuan, 53 has operated his stall in a small park near Wufuqiao Dong Lu for 7 years, Liu is from Mianyang but has lived in Chengdu for more than a decade, He started studying the craft of eye cleaning when he was 17 and trained for 3 years before he put it into actual practise, in all these years, he's never slipped up,

He has of course another a few tricks up his sleeve using the same cut throat razor haircuts and shaves can be preformed, but you can still find a few barbers willing to scrape your eyeballs with a cut throat razor for as little as RMB5 ($0.80), now the big question do you really want to know how it's done?

well this is the procedure from a eye witness, 'Liu Deyuan used some water to rinse off the knife he had just used to shave the customers head and pulled up a stool, using his fingers to hold open the customers eyelids, Liu scraped the blade back and forth over the eyelid and then the eyeball, then he took out another tool, a small rod, which he placed in the eye, sliding it back and forth in the customers upper eyelid like a windshield wiper, He repeated the process on the lower eyelid, when the left eye was done, he did the whole thing again on the right eye, the whole process took about 5 minutes, and by the end, the customers face was streaming with tears', I bet it was!

so if you fancy having your eyeballs scraped the queue starts near Wufuqiao Dong Lu, by the way you will not find me anywhere near this queue, I really do not fancy this at all!
