I Have Been Putting This Off,

bringing the step ladder downstairs,

then balancing on it to replace two of the curtain hooks that had broken, looking out of the window whilst on the ladder for myself is a tad unsettling, 

next job, put draught excluding tape around the living room door, in an attempt to keep draughts out and our heating bills down,

I had bought some sprit to clean the surface, plus the 7mm thick tape,

it all went well, I took off the backing and stuck the tape down the door frame,

and along the top, the hinge side as it happens was a snug fit, and hey presto, all done, I closed the door, and the door did not lock! try as I might the door would not catch, the little bit of the lock that moves in and out would note locate in the door frame to keep the door shut, D'Oh! on to plan 'B', buy some 3mm tape and try again next week, Diana arrived home in the afternoon, so it was a coffee and a chat until our evening meal, after which a Simpsons, 

and for a change we watched a show called Outback Opal Hunters, which followed the fortunes of, you guessed it, outback opal hunters in Australia, after which we watched two episodes of Lewis back to back before we were off to bed.
