Sunday Has Raced Around Again,

so time for a read and a sherry,

continuing with Wilt, which I somehow identified with as Wilt describes Printer's 3 on day release as he takes them for liberal studies, although I guess the group of apprentices I was with were a tad more well behaved than the collection Wilt had for class,

on to our starter, a lamb kebab with salad,

'Cheers!',

for our main course chicken, with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

well I just had to,

and what could be better than a sherry trifle?

well one more, 'Cheers!, in the afternoon a couple of Columbo's, and one from Poirot, before our evening films,

firstly the 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes, in this film a serum is discovered that halts and in fact turns back the effects of Alzheimer's disease, but as you might expect things go wrong, after trying the cure on a chimp it makes huge jumps in intelligence, eventually leading a breakout from the research facility, great special effects make this all the more enjoyable,

we rounded off the evening with a book that was compulsory reading at my school in English literature class, The Thirty Nine Steps then made into three films, this one released in 1978, and enjoyable it was too after which we were off to bed.
