then first thing I was out,
and going to visit Duncan at the nursing home where he stays,
clear blue skies and it was hot, inside Duncan was in the day room, which he does not like, but there it is the staff think it is best for him, we chatted away and then a surprise, Alan arrived, he had a day off from work and drove to the home on his motorcycle, we all chatted away until Duncan's lunch arrived and then said our farewells,
outside I had to look at Alan's motorcycle,
it is a 2.3 litre Triumph, amazingly it has a bigger engine than our Jaguar!
well I just had to!
twice! Alan roared off home, I drove back to Beckenham, I spent the afternoon installing Affinity Photo 2, which worked well and will be a replacement for Photoshop that I will now no longer use, and then a huge snag, try as I might I could not add NIK to it, I know it can be done, but I just do not know how, try as I might I gave up,
and started my evening read, but I was so late, a very quick read then I rushed down a chicken curry Diana had left for me, I did not take a photograph as I was late for the photo club, where we all had a very interesting evening, listening to a photographer whose name I failed to make a note of, who spends his time photographing abandoned buildings in Europe, a great talk it was too, his photographs were stunning, if I find out who he was I will make a post about him, as for Diana, when she finished work she went straight to Kai's home tomorrow the girls are off to Kings Lynn for the tulip farm nearby, arriving home a nightcap for myself before I was off to bed.
