so more play time for me,
another couple from the 'Stained Glass' folder,
I suppose it seems a bit strange playing photographs everyday as they come out of the camera and then fine tuning them to give them their best, but as a hobby I enjoy many aspects of photography, just as well we do not have a garden, or I might have taken up gardening and been up to my neck in dirt and fertilizer from the local stables! time just flew past,
and it was soon time for my evening sherry and read,
for tonight a king prawn cocktail,
followed by a lamb hot pot, 'Cheers!', on the television this evening a real treat, a whole evening of the 2025 Last Night at the Proms, apart from the usual lead up to the end of the proms, a favorite, comedian/musician was here, one we have watched many times as he stars in,
Black Books, a comedy series we have watched before, tonight at the Proms he performed Leroy Anderson’s The
Typewriter, he wrote the piece for a orchestra, completing the work on October 9, 1950, it seems strange that at school whilst the boys were going to metal work and woodwork classes the girls were doing home and business economics which included typewriter and shorthand skills, I wonder how many of todays school kids would even know what a typewriter was for!, back to Bill Bailey playing The Typewriter at the Last Night of the
Proms, you can see his performance here, just after the proms finished Diana arrived home, so feet up for a coffee and a chat, as we watched a couple from the It Ain't Half Hot Mum box set before we were off to bed.
