Sunday has raced around again,
but where do the days go? they just seem to fly past, on to our Sunday lunch, firstly I had a read and a sherry,
followed by our starter, a huge spring roll,
for today, gammon ham, covered in gravy for Diana,
sans gravy for myself, 'Cheers!',
onto dessert, a strawberry trifle, before it was feet up for our afternoon firstly a Columbo, the next one we had watched recently, so a film or two it was,
Babe, a really fun, family movie, can farmer Hoggett really enter a pig in a sheepdog trial? great special effects and a wonderful song thrown in, we followed that with a totally different film,
The Statement, it is the tale of a former Nazi executioner who becomes a target of hit men and Police investigators, a few moral questions of course rear their heads, the central character during the war killed Innocent people, but was it right to execute him without a trial? after a snack in the evening again we enjoyed a double Midsomer Murder before we were off to bed.
