until I wanted to transfer some money from my bank account,
my account was frozen, I could not get into it, yesterday the same thing happened, it took over 20 minutes on the telephone to Barclays to unfreeze my account yesterday, now again today, my account was locked, after another 25 minutes of proving who I was my account was unlocked, but, when I tried to again transfer some money I was locked out again! so another nearly 30 minutes on the telephone to Barclays and I was told, "the money you tried to transfer counts against your daily total, when you tried to resend it it went over your daily allowance so your account has been frozen" I explained that the first amount of money never left my account, the reply, "I know that, you know that, but the system does not" I was told told to try again tomorrow, that must be a record, my bank account frozen 3 times in 2 days! never had this sort of problem when I could walk into my local branch, which Barclays closed, I guess this is what is called progress, making everyday things more and more difficult for their customers, the excuse is security, in the afternoon I settled down for a film,
The Longest Day and at 3 hours long it was the longest film by some! but an epic WWII movie with a genuinely all star cast,
which took me nicely up to my evening read and sherry,
for tonight a chicken tikka masala, 'Cheers!', I followed that with,
Robocop 3, which was quite good to while away the time, but I must admit I still prefer the first in the series,
next one more from a series, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, amazing special effects, and a good storyline, just as it ended Diana arrived, so a Bangers & Cash it was, after which Diana was off to bed, for myself one more from the Bangers & Cash team before I too was off to bed.
