All Ready To Go,

we were off to the movies,

to watch the latest James Bond movie Skyfall,

but first the Hell Hole known as the underground bike park below Central Festival,

there are so many motor bikes parked there you have to double or triple park trapping other bikes in or being trapped in yourself, but it is that or nothing, so a quick view across a rainy Pattaya bay,

after we had bought our tickets,

then back to the theatre to stock up on popcorn and coke zero, we went with the mini size popcorn, the machine that serves drinks in tubs had broken so it was two cans for us, then let the movie begin,

and what a movie it was, the stunt drivers deserve a huge raise in pay, what ever they got they deserved double! the special effects stunning, the story line gripping, the actors could not have been cast better, all let down because of the quality of the film stock, the film that was shown looked like it had been used to clean 50 year old carpets with, it was totally covered in dust and dirt throughout the whole film, worse some one had tried to clean the dust and dirt off of the film using a pad of wire wool! in the light parts of the movie lines from left to right in black made their way from the bottom of the frame to the top every 8 or 10 seconds or so, in the dark parts of the film the same effect but the lines were green, absolutely appalling, it spoilt what should have been an enjoyable film - the film stock was that scratched, Diana wore a scarf as the theatres here are normally a bit cold,

next to our evening meal the MK Restaurant, at 06.00 in the evening as usual the staff perform the company dance,

 a complimentary soup to start,

 and naturally a beer,

 Diana ordered a seafood soup,

with lots of seafood in it we were happy to say,

along with some prawn dim sums,

and the large plate of roast duck, crispy and honey pork,

'Cheers!' we were full to say the least, the bill just over 600 baht for the two of us,

then home feet up for a few other movies to watch, we fancied a 3D one so what better than Sea Rex 3D: Journey to a Prehistoric World? we had watched it before, this was what I wrote then, 'I bought it some time ago and was, well more than a little disappointed to find that in one review it received just one star, well I have to say that reviewer is totally wrong, it was for us brilliant, it brought to life Georges Cuvier who many people say without a doubt, possessed one of the finest minds in history, he is first featured looking at what scientist think may be the head of a crocodile or whale, but he knows it is something that lived not recently but millions of year ago, with that he takes a young student back in time to examine two of the great earth extinction events, the big one 245 million years ago (the third in a series of five, up to 95 percent of all animalsnearly the entire animal kingdomwere lost in what is thought to be the worst extinction in history,) and the smaller one 65 million years ago, (the fifth), what a great DVD, it was even better watching it again,

followed by another couple from Colditz, the story, mostly true now starting to build as the first futile escapes are tried,

to round the evening off back to series 3 of Silent Witness, Divided Loyalties, Maggie Collins who died of a heroin overdose, sadly, her body wasn't discovered for several days and in that time, her infant daughter died of dehydration, but then another death is reported, then another all from a heroine overdose, all from the same batch of heroin, is a turf war breaking out, or is some one out for revenge? for us we were then off to bed.
