We Had A Few Things To Buy Today,

so off on our trusty bike,

first stop Fascino, it is a huge pharmacy on Pattaya North, we had a few tablets to pick up,

next stop the bank, more money, where does it all go?

we needed funds as we were going shopping for a few essentials at Friendship in Pattaya Tai (South Road),

one of the things we needed to buy was some washing powder, but the strange thing was that nearly all of the machine powder was sold out, just powder for hand washing was left, though to be fair I do not know what the difference would be if you used hand washing powder in a machine, but anyway as it happened there was one size of machine powder left, the huge tub above that we nursed home, it made for an interesting drive home, using the handle bars was not an option, but as you might expect every other road user stopped suddenly or move across the road in front of us with no warning, but at least we will not have to buy any more in the foreseeable future!

we watched a film in the afternoon, then glad rags on for our evening meal to Ali Baba, at the sea end of Pattaya Central,

after poppadoms we ordered chicken chatt,

so many flavours in just one course,

 'Cheers!',

the staff had new tunics and hats to wear for the evening, so they all looked very smart,

the next starter was prawn puri,

then who should arrive? none other than Harvey who had just flown up from Phuket with Noi,

for our next course we went again with the 20 thieves, a hot skillet served with a selection of prawns, chicken, prawns, fish and cheese on a bed of cabbage and onions, delicious,

Harvey went with a selection of dishes served on a huge tray, we finally finished with chicken tikka masala with peas pilau rice, by now it was late as we said our goodbyes to Harvey and Noi to make our way home,

in the afternoon we watched Dorian Grey, it was originally a book written by Oscar Wilde, a young man sells his soul to keep his youthful looks, he does not age but a painting that he keeps hidden away ages in his stead, as his friends age and he does not they know something is wrong, but will anyone guess what?

we watched one more of Judge John Deed, Evidence of Harm, When a depressive soldier commits suicide and takes his son's life along with his own, Jo Mills asks Judge Deed to look into why the soldier's legal aid funding was cancelled just before his suit against a pharmaceutical firm before the high court was to be heard, it is not long before Deed realises that he is up against the government, the army and a huge drug company, with the end of that we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony then we were off to bed.
