by having breakfast with Mark,
at the Punch and Judy, the larger English breakfast at 160 baht,
then home to pick Diana up and off to All Seasons Travel,
whilst there I left Diana in the shop to pop into pick up a few pictures from the Kodak shop opposite Friendship supermarket, the aquarium in the photo shop looking as nice as ever,
making my way back to All Seasons I have to amend an earlier post where I said they closed Saturdays and Sundays, I was wrong, looking at the door which we could not see as the shutters were down on Saturday it appears they do open on Saturdays, from 09.00 to 14.00, so note to residents out here I got it wrong they are open on Saturdays,
above is some more information if you do wish to use them,
the day just slipped past, Steve called from the UK, he and Kai will be here soon, then after our evening meal it was feet up after some satellite television to watch Chinatown,
the storyline, 'JJ 'Jake' Gittes is a private detective who seems to specialise in matrimonial cases. He is hired by Evelyn Mulwray when she suspects her husband Hollis, builder of the city's water supply system, of having an affair. Gittes does what he does best and photographs him with a young girl but in the ensuing scandal, it seems he was hired by an impersonator and not the real Mrs. Mulwray. When Mr. Mulwray is found dead, Jake is plunged into a complex web of deceit involving murder, incest and municipal corruption all related to the city's water supply' a great all round movie even the director Roman Polanski had two appearances in it, we both thoroughly enjoyed this made in 1974 movie,
we then rounded the evening off with another couple from Poirot, tonight,
Poirot realises that a murder is being plotted, and with the help of Hastings' latest hobby, he sets out to prevent it.
Poirot is drawn into a case where a man is found dead on the grounds of his estate, apparently frightened to death by the spirits that haunt it.
then for us we were off to bed.
