so no pictures today,
but a couple of friends did call round, firstly Jay followed by Mark, a few days earlier they had both been out on the town for a boys night out, so we chatted about the price of beer and put the world to rights, after saying our goodbyes and our evening meal we settled down to watch The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, directed by Terry Gilliam for me a great film, we had watched it before, the first time Diana was not so sure, but this time she enjoyed it, very Monty/Time Bandits, if you like that sort of thing this is for you, the sets are stunning as are the costumes, the Baron takes over from a player who is impersonating on stage and tells the true story of his life, I also mentioned to Diana that an illness has been named after the Baron, Munchausen by proxy syndrome (MBPS) it is a relatively rare form of child abuse that involves the exaggeration or fabrication of illnesses or symptoms by a primary caretaker,
and what better way to round the evening off than another mystery from Poirot? for tonight's entertainment,
Death in the Clouds
While Poirot sleeps on an airplane flight from Paris to London, a notorious French moneylender is murdered with a poisoned dart.
then for us we were off to bed.
