and thankfully no one was killed,
as a Gold Bus Ballarat bus in Montague St, South Melbourne,
Australia, on Monday morning crashed into a low bridge,
all 15 people on board miraculously escaped serious injury
despite some being pinned under seats,
firefighters said it was a miracle no one was seriously
hurt when the 3.8m-high bus tried to go under the 3m bridge, as of Monday night
two women and a man remained in the Royal Melbourne Hospital, one woman was at
Western Health, and five women were at The Alfred, all were in a stable condition,
the driver had been sedated after suffering cuts and bruises and I am sure we
all wish them well, but what was really local news soon made the headlines,
when to avoid bad publicity,
a man turned
up at the scene and started taping over the bus company name to
obscure it from gathering media,
so what was an unfortunate local event has now been featured on twitter and has now presumably gone world wide, Gold Bus Ballarat director Matthew Baird defended the
decision, saying 'it was usual practice after a crash to protect their brand', which seemed a bit of a strange thing to say, ''it was usual practice after a crash'' so I guess this is not the first time duct tape has been used by them to protect their brand, not a wise thing to do, if the company had not used duct tape I would have never heard of Gold Bus Ballarat.
