Diana was out,
to meet Wilma in Bromley,
for a breakfast of coffee, croissants,
and cake,
the agony of choice!
so we had a late lunch, first a read and a sherry,
followed by a lobster bisque soup,
selfie time,
the flowers this week looking so nice and such a wonderful fragrance,
on to our main course,
pork with lots of crackling,
we rounded the meal off with a strawberry sherry trifle,
it was now almost early evening so rather than an afternoon film we had a evening one, and as it was Doctor Zhivago, the vodka had to come out!
the story is part narrated by Zhivago's half brother Yevgraf, who has made his career in the Soviet Polic force, it is set against the backdrop of the Bolshevik Revolution and the horrors that it made, a love story but the film is more than that, great movie, we followed that with a couple from Columbo before we were off to bed.
