I Had A Bit Of A Busy Day,

as it happens I left before Diana,

into a bright warm day as I past the snail mail box,

onto a number 54 bus alighting at This 'N' That,

I popped into say Hi,

then across that road to Kingfisheries, I had some plastic bags to drop off and pick up a cheque for them,

next on to a bus to Bromley Market Square, passing The Partridge,

and into and out of Lloyds bank,

next into Barclays to pay the cheque for the plastic bags in,

out and past Primark,

as it was Friday the stalls were here, the haberdashery,

and a lot of stalls selling all manner of goods,

and here was the balloon seller,

a quick pose,

and a thumbs up for good measure!

lots of colour on this stall,

and a hat for the sun,

as it happens there was lots of colour on this stall as well,

the metal sign stall was here as well, ideal for man caves, or in my case attic,

jewelry aplenty,

and this is the stall I will be calling back to after I have picked up some essential supplies,

Diana and myself were talking about some crab legs for a Sunday starter and here they were, but first,

essential supplies, into LIDL that now had a wig stall next to the entrance for 3 bottles of spiced rum and 2 bottles of sherry, plus some other unimportant stuff like food,

back to the seafood stall,

1 small whelks, 1 large cockles, 1 crayfish tails, £16.50 and I was almost on my way, but chatting to the stall owner he said this was the first time in 2 months that he had crab legs in stock, and when they are gone that would be it for maybe another few months, so 8 crab legs for £7.50, not for this Sunday, they will go into the freezer for the next Sunday lunch's starter,

onto the bus and back into the park passing the snail mail box, it was now decidedly overcast, and guess who I bumped into? Diana, as I was arriving home she was off to work,

after arriving home a bit of a treat, I had a half of the pot of whelks mid afternoon,

I then had time to play with a photograph I took when we went to the Sanctuary of Truth in Thailand when we lived near there, which nicely brought me up to the time for my evening meal,

but first a read and a sherry,

before a butter chicken with pulao rice, 'Cheers!', next feet up for a Outback Opal Hunters and a Deadliest Catch before a Midsomer Murder, we then followed that with a black & white movie,

The Haunting, as it happens I felt a bit tired so I was off to bed leaving Diana to watch the film, apparently it was pretty scary dairy, this from one reviewer:

"After watching "The Haunting" 1963, I slept with my hands under the covers for 3 weeks. I was alone in the house, very late at night. Every sound amplified.. I was a full grown woman. For Pete's sake, I have watched almost every monster movie made. Even the original "Wolfman." Hummm, I could handle this. Wrong! I have never been so frightened in my life. Who or What was holding her hand??...The door at the top of the spiral stair almost gave me a stroke. This movie made a believer out of me. The sound effects, the lighting, the "breathing door", plus the fact it was Black and White.. The house, well don't ask me to attend a dinner party there. You will be eating alone. Perfect movie for Halloween. I give this movie a "10","

oh dear, and I left Diana to watch it by herself! I was well into the Land of Nod when Diana joined me.
