we settled down for the first fish of the day, not that we have a competition, but the winner with the most fish does have bragging rights!
the day was a bit overcast, which was not a bad thing as when the sun did come out it was so hot,
Nick enjoying a beer with Ta-Taa,
then Nick was in to one, and a nice sized one it was too,
a worried looking Nick, it was a catfish which has sharp spines on it, the problem is that if one sticks you most times the puncture wound will become infected - handle with care!
then I was into one, a real rod bender,
we do not catch so many fish here as in Charlie's but they are a little bit larger,
Nick all set with the net,
but at the last moment it got away, still 1 - 0 to Nick, and that was the way it stayed, a really nice day away from it all, but as it past 5 in the afternoon huge black clouds started rolling in, so we packed our gear and made a move to Nick and Maureen's,
just in time, although difficult to see the rain was crashing down,
I tried to get Diana to pose in the rain, but she was not falling for it! she stayed in the dry, it is the rainy season out here now, as I am writing this it is still raining from last night, but but so hard,
whilst we were fishing a chicken casserole was cooking, it was delicious, for Diana's dessert what better than a chocolate Magnum?
Maureen and Nick as happy as ever,
'Cheers!' from myself with cheese and biscuits, beetroot and celery, we had a great day and evening, chatting about our previous jobs and experiences, then home to 388, feet up for the final Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult, and funny it was too, so many stars appearing in it, also you may not have noticed it but the jokes continue as the credits scroll up the screen, by now it was late so it was off to bed.
