or perhaps I should say letterpressed,
by this picture, designer Cameron Moll recently announced a new Kickstarter for a letterpress print of the Brooklyn Bridge constructed entirely from typography,
Moll worked entirely in Adobe Illustrator to draw the artwork, and while some sections can be copied and pasted roughly 70-80% of the characters in the artwork were positioned, sized, and rotated one by one,
it must have taken forever to make a work like this even using Adobe Illustrator, well 3 years as it happens, but imagine the time it would have taken back in the 1960's when I was in the printing trade and the type would have been in single physical pieces!
