but first our Sunday lunch, we decided on the Punch & Judy, for starters we all chose the chicken pate,
moving on to our main courses Diana went with the chicken and ham pie,
Mr. Tony chose his favorite, the cottage pie with a cheese topping,
whilst I had the traditional Sunday roast lamb,
'Cheers!',
then it was eyes down and tuck in,
although we were full after a long break we just had to have some of the delicious apple crumble, then home for a few episodes of Cheers, we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony then I was out at 10.00 in the evening to meet up with the boys,
I walked down Soi Diamond, I should have put the camera in the fluorescent light setting for this picture, the bar is on the corner of Soi Diamond and Walking Street,
although it had been raining the street was quite crowded,
I just love the neon signs,
and the food this restaurant sells!
I made my way past the themed go-go bars,
behind bars in one of the bars and getting cold in the other, I wonder what the owners will think of next?
towards the end of the street I neared one of the seafood restaurants both Diana and myself like,
the Lobster Pot, we eat there occasionally on a Saturday evening when we are not having a bar-b-q,
great neon sign,
almost at the end of the street passing the new New Star go-go,
having visited some time before I was told that there are 120 dancers that work in the venue, it was particularly popular with one group of guys, every so often one of the waitresses would come in and give a member of the group two bundles of 100 twenty baht notes in each bundle, to the great delight of all of the staff handfuls of money would be thrown into the air, you should have heard the noise! this went on for several occasions, as you might expect great fun was had by all!
next stop to Living Dolls, the one that is down a walk way, it was a lot quieter in there, but still good fun and we also bumped into Mark and Phil on their night out,
for our final stop of the evening it was to Sweethearts for a night cap or two, we now said our goodbyes as a golf contest was scheduled for the next day, well I should have said later this morning, it was nearly morning by now,
so off home we all went after a very enjoyable evening, I was feeling a bit peckish, which was strange as it was 02.30 in the morning,
so I stopped off at one of the many food stalls, a couple of hot dogs for Diana, two chicken legs for me, one for now and one for tomorrows breakfast,
the food stall I went to was the one on the corner of Soi Diana and Second Road, which was quiet to say the least with hardly any traffic on it,
the stall had a couple of other customers, then motorbike taxi home, we ate our early morning snack whilst watching Storage Wars Texas, which we had not seen before, then just after 3 in the morning we were off to bed.
