Some Good News About Diana's Visa For Her To Stay In The UK,

her application was approved by the UK Home Office,

 we were told her new biometric card would arrive between 08.000 - 20.00 today, Monday 31st January, by a secure courier, and to make sure someone was available to sign for it, so all is well for the next two and a half years, when we will have to do all of this again, also on the good news front, the photographs that my email out-box would not send finally arrived, of the house blessing and party in Mum's new house in the Philippines, and here they are,

Mum, Donna and Sandio all now fully settled in, as I was waiting for the courier to arrive I decided to unpack one of my Christmas presents from Diana,

a grow your own mushroom kit,

it all looks fairly easy,

the peat and mushroom compost,

put into the tray as directed,

the top bit mixed,

covered as recommended,

and popped into my desk draw, for some reason putting the pot into a airing cupboard, which would have been my first choice was not recommended, I spent the afternoon and evening watching television and waiting for the courier to call, Diana arrived home, still no card, why does it always happen to us? we watched a Lewis, at 10.30 in the evening a message from the secure couriers, 'Your package will arrive between 08.00-20.00 tomorrow 1st, February, please make sure some one is available to sign for it' it is a good job that we are not both at work, or it would be a second day off for one of us, but there it is, hopefully it will arrive as promised, for the second time! we watched one more Lewis before we were off to bed.
