Given My Fear Of Heights,

this is one photo opportunity I will let pass me by!

photograph Wikimedia Commonsit is a rock wedged between two cliff faces in Norway, called Kjeragbolten it is in Kjerag mountain, in Lysefjord, I seen similar photographs many times, but this time I thought I would have a closer look,

the abyss below the boulder is 984 meters or 3,228 feet deep, so a slight slip getting on or off the rock is not good for your health!

apparently people from all over the world travel to Norway to hike up Kjerag mountain and have their photos taken on the famous suspended boulder, for myself I think I will give it a miss, just the thought of putting foot on it and the boulder moving, it makes me shudder just to think about it!
