I had not seen this one before,
he was looking at the crows eating nuts from our window sill, as usual I opened the window fully to throw him some nuts but he took fright,
I do not normally throw nuts onto the lawn as it encourages pigeons, when the foxes call I do, but he had not yet learned the nuts were for him, give him a few days I guess,
out into a cold, grey day, and on to a number 54 bus, which took a age to get into town,
I alighted at the stop,
by This 'N' That,
with all manner of goods for sale,
back onto the number 54 bus and past a new restaurant opening up near the war memorial,
the Travelodge in the High Street still not quite finished, any month now,
again it took an age going through the High Street, slowly passing the church,
and green next to it,
in a few months the outdoor seating area at The Pearl will be put to good use, we have not actually eaten there, it has live music and the sound of it belting out as we walk past puts us off of even looking at the menu, we prefer quieter surrounds when we dine out,
and here was the cause of the traffic delays, road works, a hole in the ground near the bride, the temporary traffic light causing the delays,
out of the bus and into the park, past the snail mail box and home where I played with a few images on the computer,
after which I decided to watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which finished just before Diana arrived home, so a coffee and a chat before our evening meal, after a BattleBots and a Midsomer Murder Diana was off to bed, for myself a Have I got More News For You followed by a It Ain't Half Hot Mum, before I too was off to bed.
