our last morning,
before flying home, so a quick pose on one of the bridges,
looking along the canal,
one thing that is abundant in Vienna,
is graffiti, it almost looks like it is a national sport!
we called back here for our breakfast,
a steak burger for Steve,
egg benedict for Diana,
omelette for Kai,
and a steak burger sans cheese for myself,
'Cheers!', with a latte coffee,
the shop next this one took my attention as Diana, Kai and Steve were doing some shopping,
in Vienna literally every day The Third Man is showing at a cinema in the city, well the film in 1999 was voted by the British Film Institute to be the
greatest British film of all time,
and when I saw this I thought the same for Casablanca, that a cinema would be showing it, but in reality it was a jazz club,
here was the nearest cinema,
shopping over,
we joined up, I hate shopping, so I wander off when the others are,
to day the carriages are topless, it was a warm 5 degrees, and there was a tad of sun breaking through the clouds,
if you visit Vienna,
a drive in one of these is good fun, so many people wave as you go past,
I mentioned the sun coming through the clouds,
which meant a nice blue sky behind the cathedral,
I had a look into one of the more unusual shops,
selling miniature figures,
in one of the windows nativity figures,
past the flower shop,
and to another 'unusual' shop,
again selling miniature figures,
and miniature porcelain,
past the side,
and then the rear of the church,
we carried on walking to a arcade,
the arcades other end,
back over the bridge,
and in the distance,
the sound of a vessel,
the first one we had seen in all of our visit on the canal,
there was that 'Diana Bad' sign again,
in the background,
a huge piece of street art,
it was impressive to say the least, back into our hotel to check out, and off to the airport,
arriving at the airport cake and coffees for the girls, a beer each for Steve and myself, arriving back in the UK the taxi firstly dropped off Steve and Kai and then us, what a wonderful short break, in the evening we just relaxed and I put together this short video,
firstly in the cemetery I have a walk then Diana, who then does the walk Anna did in the film, totally ignoring me, in the film Holly Martins played by Joseph Cotten, next over the cobble stones in our horse and coach ride, finally a quick glimpse at some of the horses at the Spanish Riding School, video finished we were then off to bed.
