I Had Already Dropped Diana Off At Work,

next, blog posted,

and I was out to visit Duncan, it was yet another cold, wet day,

onto the number 54 bus and past Peter Pan's Pool,

looking towards Catford, no improvement in the weather,

the bee garden on top of this bus shelter,

doing well,

a change of drivers at Catford bus garage,

and I was soon going through the Lewisham one way system,

I was going to buy the train tickets for next months visits to Duncan, but alas the ticket office was closed,

but I was in luck with a couple of things, firstly a through train to Gravesend so no changing trains at Dartford, secondly arriving at Gravesend the ticket office was open there, so I bought all of next months tickets to visit Duncan, I had a bit of shopping to do, so into Gravesend High Street,

then to the bus stand by the station, grey skies again,

off of the number 483 bus and up the hill,

into the nursing home grounds,

and past the rose bushes,

inside Duncan was in fine sprits, we chatted away, and then one of the squirrels called by for some peanuts, as it happened we reminisced about our time in Latvia,

when we stayed in Riga, I have posted this photograph in Riga before, and this is me there, yes I know a handsome devil, well in my dreams, we chatted for a couple of hours until his lunch arrived and we said our farewells,

out,

and on my way to the bus stop, I was lucky with the trains again no changing at Dartford,

onto a number 54 bus which stopped past the normal bus stop at St. Margarets church, so I could take a photograph of it,

past the never ending pavement works in Lewisham,

slowly moving along the road,

and looking at these still lots of pavement to go!

the plants in the flower beds opposite Lewisham hospital, starting to grow,

the Catford cat, as I mentioned some time ago needing a lick of paint,

the bee garden here,

taken over by weeds,

off of the bus and past the snail mail box and I was home, where shortly afterwards Diana arrived home,

so a sherry and a read of the current Private Eye that had just arrived, Diana had bought another years subscription as a Christmas present,

a Filipino dish for Diana,

for myself a huge plate of chilli-con-carne,

'Cheers!', in the evening we watched a couple of Deadliest Catch which we followed with,

Thunderball, another Bond movie, the world is held hostage as Bond tries to find two nuclear warheads, after which Diana was off to bed, another early start tomorrow, for myself a Have I Got More News For You, after which I too was off to bed.
