Day 5,

we spent the day at sea,

looking at land that we were passing,

and playing cribbage in one of the lounges,

in the evening a treat,

we had booked a table at the Indian restaurant on board, a few poppadom's,

as we pursed the menu,

wine ordered,

and a cocktail for Diana,

it was a tad spicy,

with a red pepper split in half as a garnish,

'Cheers!',

as our,

main courses arrived,

and another,

all at sea in a Indian restaurant,

eyes down and tuck in!

to our desserts,

I have forgotten what they were but they were nice,

all of this deck walking again got too much for me!

in the evening a great show,

as its name implies The Tap Chaps put on a great show of tap dancing, in fact they were really so good, after which a nightcap in the bar before we were both off to bed, back to the UK. At lunch time Diana was off to work, a late shift today, for myself I started sorting through the hundreds of photographs I took on our cruise, and there were hundreds, every day! in the evening,

time for my read and sherry,

followed by a king prawn salad that Diana had left for me, 'Cheers!',

after which a treat, one of the speciality ports that Rainham Steve had bought for me on my birthday, delicious! next a film which I had seen before, but I do like films made in this time period,

The Other Boleyn Girl, which I enjoyed watching again, I followed that with

Venom: Let There Be Carnage, we both enjoyed the first Venom and I liked watching this one again, I then stubbled on a Mount of Monte Cristo,

The Count of Monte Cristo (TV Mini Series 2024), and watched one episode which I really enjoyed watching again, I might even buy the series so that Diana and myself can watch them together, I rounded off my evening with,

Titanic: Dead Reckoning, it appears for years much of the blame was put on the wrong captain, a very enjoyable if somewhat sad to watch documentary showing how blinded both the original US and UK enquires were and rushed to a totally wrong conclusion, after which Diana arrived home from work, so a Mrs. Brown's Boys it was before we were off to bed.
