Night Was Falling,

so it was time for some food,
'Ah!'
Diana pretending she likes wine,
for tonight prawns and some other spicy dishes with rice,
we did bring a lot of food with us, the resort provided the cooking utensils,
"Cheers!" from Steve and myself,
the next batch of prawns are nearly done,
the gas lamp worked a treat,
and the food was delicious, a few more after dinner drinks and it was time for bed,
next morning another group of visitors were bobbing past our rooms,
being missed by the other water traffic, in this case a food boat,
which was called back as the girls were hungry,
meanwhile more tourists make their way upstream,
more ingredients are added to the pan,
the girls eagerly waiting for the food,
the boat with the nice engine goes past,
just a few more inches of water in the river and this barge would not have made it!
Diana ready for our visit to the monkey colony,
not to much of a drive away there is a monkey troop,
they did live on the car park side of the road, but evidently their numbers have been so much reduced by poaching that they have taken sanctuary in some privately owned land, the downside is that we can not park there, so the monkeys have to cross the road for some free food,
a young monkey in a clump of bamboo,
Diana was pretty nervous about feeding the monkeys, but she soon became confidante,
as did Kai,
we had bought corn and bananas, but the monkeys favorite was of all things monkey nuts AKA peanuts,
Kai was still trying with the corn,
Steve had brought a video camera with him as well as his still cameras,
then it was back in the van and we were off to the elephant show.
