then Mr. Tony called in for a cuppa,
we went to the pharmacy, every so often Diana has an allergic reaction to some thing she eats so we buy here cream here,
the pharmacy is next to the food stall area where we normally buy our chicken soup, we were a bit early, not many stalls had set up yet,
essential supplies for the river Kwai, last time we went there there was no electricity at night, so I bought a gas light, they are provided, but as we stay up late into the night I thought it was better that we had our own,
other essential supplies, vodka and tonic, last time there was soda available but no vodka or tonic,
then the afternoon spent on the railway, it will be my last effort for some time as Steve and Kai are staying here for a holiday,
putting the glue down for the ballast,
things are starting to look better,
4 sections of track nearly done,
Diana helping out as usual,
then Mark called in to see work in progress,
followed by Mick and Mass, last time we went away Mark looked after the fish but to give him a rest Mick kindly offered to look after them,
Diana is really getting confident at cooking, roast chicken, Yorkshire puddings, potatoes, peas, broccoli and onion gravy, what a feast!
then all dressed up and out on the town,
with a nice necklace,
break dancing seems to be the rage out here,
Walking Street seems to be as crowded as usual, but it is still the 'high' season,
the tree along the street that has become a shrine, I remember it from 29 years ago, but it must have been here for a hundred or more years before then,
Diana was still fascinated by the sand man,
he had seen us here a few times before and decided to let Diana have a go,
brave fellow! but there she is adding the finishing touches to another sand jar,
I have seen many of these glass or plastic paper weights, but this is the first time I have seen them illuminated, they looked quite nice,
we then had a walk along the now crowded street, calling in at Sweethearts to see Grieg and then Juu at Champions, not a late night for tomorrow we were up early to meet Steve and Kai in Bangkok, they were traveling back from seeing Kai's in laws so we were meeting them in Bangkok, so that is it for now as we are off to town.
