Oh No! More Trains,

yes if you do not like trains I would skip this one! carrying on from where I left off yesterday I continued with the ballasting, plastic glue along the edge of the underlay,
now I have just made a start on the sidings, loose ballast is then sprinkled on and left to dry over night,
this is the bit that is a bit tricky as I have to reach across the table,
now the easy bit,
after hoovering up the unstuck ballast tomorrow it is then a case of ballasting the middle of the track,
I also made a start on the first set of points, the trick is not to use to much ballast or glue in case you gum them up,
work in progress at the other end of the layout,
we then settled down to a true story, 10 Rillington Place, it was about the serial killer, John Christie, also the spotlight for the anti hanging brigade, a intellectually challenged person Timothy Evens took the drop for Christy and was ultimately though tragically to late pardoned, this case led the anti hanging brigade to ultimate victory, no blood and guts, just a true chilling statement of the facts in what was post war Britain,
then to a black and white film of one of my boyhood books The Cruel Sea, made all the more realistic as our English literary master, Mr. Nesbit, did in fact serve on a corvette similar to the Compass Rose, a great, if only in British eyes film, last but not least another episode of New Tricks bringing an end to the fifth series, we will be eagerly awaiting series six! then off to bed.
