the one we go to is on Soi Diana Inn 13,
pork, gammon ham and sausages for Diana the same for me but with lamb as well,
a different look to the street from last week as there were puddles of water everywhere,
we always sit on the outside, admittedly you do get lots of people trying to sell you DVD's and sunglasses, but it is nice to watch traders walk past with their wares,
after the meal Diana decided she needs to buy me the next sized shirt up!
another traveling salesman, whilst we were there Mr. Tony and one of his friends called in for the Sunday lunch, for us the total for the meal with one glass of wine and a coke for Diana was 563 baht, bargain!
as we returned Phil and Nong called in for a cup of tea and a chat,
also Mark called round to help me with eBay, I have started collecting stamps again, there are some bargains out there but not many! then it was time for our Sunday night out,
we arrived at about 8.30 in the evening to a quiet Walking Street, first stop was to Lollipop to say Hi to Grieg, he was saying that now the bars are open later most do not get busy till 10.00 or so in the evening, Mick called in as well, then over to see Juu in Champions where we we meet up with Big Jim, by now it was about midnight so with Juu we made our way home,
a view from the car park in Soi VC, Juu had very kindly offered top give us a lift home,
and a picture of Diana whilst we waited in the car park for juu,
then we settled down to watch Hart's War, a law student becomes a lieutenant during World War II, is captured and asked to defend a black prisoner of war falsely accused of murder, the story is set against the capture and imprisonment of two Tuskegee pilots, as mentioned in the film no one had thought through what would happen to any of the 1,000 black pilots if they were captured and sent to a at the time all white POW camp, an interesting film of the moral dilemmas that the situation put people in, then time for bed.
