we had a quick cup of coffee,
then we were off,
to park opposite the China Garden in Soi Lengkee,
then walk down to Soi Bukaow,
crossing it to walk along Soi Diana towards Second Road,
on the way along the road it is amazing how many food stalls that are here that you can eat from,
most have a semi permanent spot outside a shop,
but if you wait long enough,
one is bound to walk past with something you like,
but no food from stalls for us, this was our Sunday choice for this week,
the Robins Nest, it is situated just before Soi LK Metro, at the front of the restaurant we were greeted by Lee, one of the owner/mangers, who made us more than welcome,
we were here for the 249 baht 3 course all you can eat Sunday carvery,
and what a selection there was too,
there is soup for starters then way too many dishes to mention,
they were so delicious that when Diana had finished her main course she went back for a second helping of sausages, onions and gravy!
we were also joined by Slim Jim today,
notice how we had matching blue clothes on today, 'Ah!',
'Cheers!', from all of us as we tucked into our ice cream dessert,
Mr. Tony wanted to have a closer look at how they made their latte coffee here,
it comes with such distinct layers in the cup,
Slim Jim settled on a regular coffee,
whilst Mr. Tony had one of those delicious blueberry shakes,
we always take our time when we have a meal out, so by now it was late afternoon, we said our goodbyes to Slim Jim, on the way back to Mr. Tony's car even more food stalls had opened up,
it appears that doners are popular here, this one almost opposite the one we saw on the way in,
then cross Soi Bukaow to the car then home,
we watched some of the series we like so much, today Catch a Smuggler, a fly on the wall documentary of events at JFK Airport amongst others, then it was time to wish Mr. Tony Bon Voyage, we next settled down to watch some more of that excellent series New Tricks, one of the regulars has just left the team, we are waiting to see if the replacement settles, then for us we were off to bed.
