as the statue rises into the air,
designed by Korean born Do Ho Suh, Karma is a sculpture made from 98 cast stainless steel figures,
exhibited at The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA, New Orleans, although it looks like it reaches into the sky forever it is in fact just 23 feet (7 meters) tall, the piece depicts a tower of piggy-backed men, each successively covering the eyes of the man below him, creating an illusion that the blinded tower seems to stretch to infinity like a fractal or self-similarity, like looking into a series of facing mirrors, the image you see is the same but it gets smaller as the image is repeated, any way I thought it was neat.
