The Bug Men Called Today,

if only all services could be as good as theirs,

a telephone call the day before to make a time, then the next day when arranged the truck arrives,

the pump started and the inside and out side of the property sprayed and they are on their way to the next client,

and we were on our way too when they had finished, we had some shopping to do at Index,

as Diana is going to cook a Sunday roast we needed some non-stick pans, one for the roast and one for the Yorkshire puddings,

we also stopped at the True Vision shop to advise them that we will not be renewing our yearly subscription, we watch the service so infrequently, also the TMN system we have suits our needs so much better, next stop Friendship for a cut of beef for Sundays roast and a few other supplies, finally the market for some fresh fruit,

I parked next to the bar-b-q fish stall,

they looked nice but not as fresh as the one we had the last time we went fishing,

home, shower and off to the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road,

it had been raining in the morning, the sky was still overcast,

but a few patches of blue looking inland,

as well as fixed stalls there are mobile entrepreneurs like this gentleman selling beach mats,

 or food,

opposite the bar this evening a couple of shoe sellers,

and new for this week a stall selling monkey shakes, it looked like coffee beans in the picture, but they were not on closer inspection,

strawberries and other shakes for sale here,

quiet a crowd in one of the food aisles,

and here a new food aisles, the one that was behind the market has been moved inside,

and the pet section has been revamped,

with new flood defences running along the front of the shops that you have to step over,

plus the imminent opening of a couple of 'boutique' pet shops, similar to the ones that are so common in Bangkok,

 sunset over the market,

all of the boiling oil fryers working flat out for the evening rush,

theses T shirts look so good, they are works of art in themselves,

tonight we were joined by Brian whose new baby is doing fine, after saying our goodbyes we made our way home and watched,

Land of the Lost, although we had watched it before we both enjoyed watching it again, for some strange reason it was not liked by many, but for us great special effects and story, I guess a few people just took this movie to seriously, then a few episodes of The Chase, just to keep the little grey cells working and then we were off to bed.
