This Is So Typical,

as soon as Christmas is over,

one of these 'must have' Christmas presents comes along, it is the Quadrofoil, it takes it's design from a hydrofoil, which is a lifting surface that operates in water, think of an aircraft wing in the air which gives the aircraft lift, but in this case underwater, boats using hydrofoil technology are also simply termed hydrofoils, the hydrofoil lifts the boat's hull out of the water as speed increases, decreasing drag and thus allowing for greater speeds, range and economy, I remember travelling on a hydrofoil many years ago, travelling over night from Goa to Mumbai or Bombay as it was then, but back to the Quadrofoil, it is the first hydrofoiling watercraft that you can buy for yourself,

the craft achieves its speed via all-electric outboard motor, the use of an electric motor also means no noise, which in turn means that you can take the Quadrofoil just about anywhere, but just because the Quadrofoil is quiet, it does not mean it won't get up and go, the aerodynamic design of the Quadrofoil, with its sleek body and hydrofoils allows you to reach cruising speeds of 20 knots and driving this watercraft is a piece of cake, the cockpit features a touch screen display that gives you all of Quadrofoils vital stats, now where can I find the $18,000 to buy one? no wait a second, for that amount of money I would rather buy a new car!
