Sunday,

and we were out for lunch,

we made our way on motorbike taxis,

to Soi Lengkee,

across Soi Bukaow into Soi Diana,

where we called into the watch repair stall, we wanted to have a couple of links taken out of Diana's bracelet watch,

so we left it there and made our way past the Metropole Hotel,

and into the Robin's Nest,

where we meet up with Slim Jim,

Diana chose Thai food, but Jim and myself went for the 3 course 279 baht Sunday lunch,

included in the meal was the ice cream dessert,

which we both enjoyed,

followed by a latte coffee,

for both of us,

'Yummy!'

after saying our goodbyes to Slim Jim we made our way back along to the watch stall,

going past a few of the food stalls on the way,

the work bench,

and here is the owner busy at work,

Diana's watch was finished with a smile,

and here it is, the strap and clip just right,

this is the press I made a complete hash of the last time we were here and I took a picture of it, a neat bit of kit, it has 20 or 30 different dies to close the back of watches,

the bracelet was shorten by three links free of charge, but we gave the stall owner a small 'thank you' and made our way to Soi Bukaow,

and then into Soi Lengkee to the motorbike taxi rank,

avoiding the trucks that still rumble from the building sites further along the road,

so home we went,

arriving safe and sound,

we watched a film or two in the afternoon and early evening, then a real treat,

more chocolate cake and strawberries drizzled with chocolate sauce and fresh cream,

delicious!

and with fresh cream in the house we just had to have an Irish coffee, then feet up for a couple of episodes from Rumpole and we were then off to bed.
