First Thing,

 Mick called round,

so we went to the Punch and Judy for breakfast,

after saying our farewells we were off to the Soi Bukaow market,

past some of the food and drink sellers near TukCom where we parked the bike,

the traffic was fairly light today because of this, there were no left turns allowed into Soi Bukaow,

which meant no traffic in the street leading up to,

 the entrance to the market,

 or the secondhand market opposite,

 so into the market itself,

 lots of fried,

 and fresh foods for sale,

some peeled and ready to eat,

most of the market covered with sun/rain awnings,

but a lot of the plant section open,

or with a sun shade only, the rain gets through this one,

 a garden ornament topped,

by one of these, a hanging basket that was awash with so many small flowers,

there were a few cactus on display, but nothing unusual,

 and orchids,

today the zoom on the camera worked,

further along there was a stall selling pots,

 and garden ornaments,

the middle entrance to the market opposite the Friendship supermarket,

and the blocked off to traffic Soi Bukaow entrance,

after our evening meal we watched 2 films on the cable network, TMN, firstly Jersey Boys, the filmography of the 4 Seasons with Frankie Valli as the lead singer, thoroughly watchable and enjoyable,

then a real change of pace with Viy, based on the stories of Nikolai Gogo, it was a dark tale indeed, difficult to follow at first, but with stunning CGI the film follows the fortunes of early 18th century cartographer Jonathan Green who undertakes a scientific voyage from Europe to the East, having passed through Transylvania and crossed the Carpathian Mountains he gets lost, well he would do he had not made the map yet! back to the story the fight is on between good and evil, we followed that with 2 more from Rumpole, then off to bed.
