We Had A Lazy Morning,

before our lunch,

a read and a sherry,

followed by mussels and sourdough bread,

for today the sauce was tomato & Chorizo, which it has to be said was a tad spicy,

eyes down down for the main course,

for today a roast chicken, sans gravy for myself,

we rounded off the meal with a melt in the middle chocolate cake with lashings of cream, after which we watched a Columbo,

until it was time to go out,

into a chilly evening, to meet with Steve and Kai at the 227 bus stop, alighting at Bromley,

first stop, a McDonald's,

for a snack,

before the show,

a quick walk to the Churchill Theatre,

although still early the High Street was almost deserted,

we joined the queue,

a quick photograph,

and we were inside,

making our way to our seats,

ice cream for the girls, white wine for Steve and myself,

'Cheers!',

and one from Diana with ice cream!

and this is who we had come to see,

introductions by bass player Trevor Newnham,

also in the line up, Mike Baker, Greg Webb, also Garreth Hicklin and Tony Kiley,

during the performance two brass players gave a sterling performance,

but I can only find out the name of the saxophone player Richard Pardy,

both of whom joined the group for many of the songs and the last number,

well it had to be Hotel California!

what a great performance by all concerned, well recommended,

the band take a bow at the end of the show,

Diana made a short video of a part of the show, and many thanks to Steve and Kai treating us to second row seats, we all caught a 354 home, alighting at Copers Cope Road where we said our farewells, for us home, a nightcap and as Diana has a early start tomorrow, we were off to bed.
