I dropped Diana off at work just before 03.45AM
and picked her up later in the afternoon,
for a drive in the country, soon slowed down by a tractor in the distance,
we caught the convoy up, until we took a right turn,
over this narrow one lane bridge,
not too far now,
and this is where we were gong, Chegworth Cherries & Plums, Water Lane, Chegworth, Maidstone ME17 1DE. chegworthvalley.com,
the cherry picking season was here!
the farms tent ready for the afternoons business,
but first,
a quick pose,
then to the cherry fields,
another pose with glasses,
and sans glasses take a good look at them, it is the last time we see this pair!
a much better crop than our last visit here,
bunches,
ladened down the trees everywhere,
much to our delight,
naturally,
every tree had to be sampled! in no time we had as many cherries as we wanted,
£10.00 later and we were back in the car,
what a glorious day,
in the car the outside temperature gauge did not lie!
we were soon hurtling along the country lanes,
and arrived home, where after a snack I was out, Diana was so tired she stayed at home, for myself I was off to Bromley, and here my narrative breaks down, I took my telephone with me to take photographs, but it went mustang, I could not send any photographs from it in its gallery to my email address or WhatsApp, so a couple of photographs from my last visit to the Churchill theater,
I meet Mike, Liz and all of the others for this 4 rows from the stage,
to watch Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, they were absolutely superb,
it was just a shame that Steve could not be here with us, after saying our goodbyes we were off to our homes, where for myself Diana was already asleep as the bus took a time to arrive in Bromley and as it happens the show slightly overran, after a Have I Got A Bit More News For You I too was off to bed.
