It Was Diana's Day Off,

so it was a girls day out,

first stop Westfield shopping mall,

then a Thai restaurant near London Bridge,

with cocktails,

next to Horizon 22

a couple of poses, Diana,

and Kai,

Diana looking down on the Walkie - Talkie building,

Kai a bit too close to the edge for myself!

finally a snack,

near Ealing Broadway,

a big snack!

for myself, I was out into another bright, blue, sunny day, past the snail mail box,

and into town, alighting at the florists,

who had a good show of plants for sale,

first stop Boots the chemists to pick up my bi-monthly prescription,

next into the hardware store, I wanted to buy a squeegee, for the next time I wash the car,

into the post office, it was my final call in Beckenham,

as I walked home I noticed a 227 bus stuck in traffic, which was handy, whilst I waited at the stop I took another couple of photographs of the never ending story, the entrance to the new Travelodge,

even after all of this time, skip loads of masonry was still being carted out, it is taking longer to build this than the pyramids!

off of the bus and I was soon walking past The Partridge,

and Primark,

no haberdashery stall here today as it is Monday,

but the fruit and vegetable one was here,

I called into LIDL, a couple of bottles of spiced rum and some bits & pieces and I was on my way,

my last port of call, I had to take some documents into the bank, and meet a most charming fellow, who took all of my details and I was out and on my way home, where it was time for my evening meal, after which I decided to watch a film,
Anzio, it must be me, I just sort of gave up on it, even though Perter Falk, (Columbo) was in the film, thankfully Diana arrived home as it finished, so we watched a Kenney Everett Video Show, which was great fun as usual, followed by a double helping of,

Black Books, although we had watched the series before we both found it so funny watching it again, after which we were off to bed.
