also Mark called round so we chatted the afternoon away upstairs,
then it was time to put our glad rags on,
and hit the town, a self portrait of us by Diana,
Secrets taxi service door to door,
inside the restaurant it is immaculately decorated,
with Chinese decorations on the walls, first course, Peking duck and pancakes,
the kitchen is on view at the rear of the seating area,
second course,
a selection of starters,
I love the attention to detail, like this tomato skin, wrapped to make it look like a flower,
'Cheers!', as our main course arrived, mixed chow mien and prawns with beansprouts,
whilst we were there Mike and Riza called in for a meal and a chat, so many thanks to Riza for taking the picture, the meal with wine came to 1,100 baht, just over £22.00, then home to 388,
in the afternoon and when we returned from the restaurant we watched The Airships, a three part DVD lasting over two and a half hours, there was so much footage that I had never seen before with a fact filled commentary, really enjoyable, (for me),
then some comedy to round the evening off, Stan Helsing, we had thought that with Leslie Nielsen the film was guaranteed to be funny, but it was almost embarrassing to watch as it went from a small laugh to total boredom, the plot, if there was one, featured Stan Helsing along with his ex-girlfriend, best buddy and an exotic dancer/'massage therapist' who then detours into a town cursed by the biggest monsters in movie history, with parades of Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, Leatherface, Chucky, & Michael Myers, coming to life, it would have been better if they had stayed dead! then for us off to bed.
