It Is Sunday, Again!

the days just seem to fly past,

the new flower is starting to open, but I do not think it will be as large as the last time it flowered,

Diana was looking her lovely self as we set out for the Punch & Judy,

to meet Steve who was sitting outside,

also for him it was a special day, his birthday,

so he had to open his present,

whilst we were chatting Diana was reading the Sunday papers,

then inside for the meal, roast lamb for Steve,

 the same for me,

whilst Mr. Tony who also joined us had the sheppard's pie,

for dessert we all had a banoffee pie, well I ate half of Diana's, in the vain hope I would not put on too much weight!

but we all agreed it was delicious,

then just as we finished who should call in? none other than Doc. Jeff who had just arrived form the States, we had a quick chat then he started his meal, hopefully we will meet up before he leaves for the US, then saying goodbye to Mr. Tony and wishing Steve a happy birthday we were on our way back to 388,

after a few Sunday afternoon ZZZZZZZZ's we watched Ocean Origins, a beautifully filmed underwater film, the problem was that it could not make its mind up as to whether to have a music only soundtrack or be a documentary, it tried to do both, but failed, the music was sort of OK, the documentary lacked substance, I even found two spelling mistakes in the English subtitles, with my dyslexia that has got to be a first! but stunning images neither the less,

we then finished the Full Circle DVDs with Micheal Palin, more than very enjoyable,

next a really strange one, in French with English subtitles, Micmacs, Bazil ends up in an orphanage after his father is killed by a land mine, 30 or so years on Bazil is then accidentally shot in the head by a stray bullet, in a sort of surreal world he with some other misfits that have befriended him then take on the manufactures of both the land mine and the bullet that is still in Bazil's head, I found it quiet enjoyable in a strange sort of way, after the first half hour Diana went to play games on the computer,

we had to finish up with another from Midsomer Murders, Small Mercies revolves around a small village that has a small village in it, Richard Tanner was stabbed and found dead in the model village in Little Worthy tied to the ground like Gulliver from Gulliver's Travels, He was found by the grounds-keeper and model maker Ben Moss who has worked for the owners, sisters Hillary and Harriet Comptom, Richard had affairs with some of the local ladies, so was a jealous husband or protective father involved? the good news was that I guessed who it was about half way through, the bad news was that I picked the murderer for all of the wrong reasons! with that we were off to bed.
