I once again called in at the fruit stall,
for a few more bananas,
there were lots to chose from,
also a couple of coconuts for Diana,
during the day both Steve and Mark called by, then in the evening it was glad rags on,
with Mr. Tony we were off to Ali Baba's for our evening meal,
we arrived a little early, but even so there were no other dinners there,
'Cheers!', from me,
and from all of us, we had already eaten starters of poppadoms, prawn puri and chicken chat,
so it was on to the main course of chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and two types of rice,
we ordered a little too much or we did not eat as much as usual so we had a few things to take home, then back to 388,
where we watched Till Death Us Do Part, the film, not the television series, I guess not much is known about the series or film outside the UK, but it did become the blueprint for the groundbreaking American sitcom 'All in the Family', it takes a look at the history of the Garnett family, from just before the start of the Second World War to the 'present day' of 1969, taking in the 1966 World Cup on it's way, though so PC incorrect, it was so good, the wedding scene reminding me so much of one that took place that I attended at Uncle Bill and Auntie Viv's in the late 1950's, both Mr. Tony and myself enjoying it immensely, Diana thought it was funny as well, also she commented that she thought I was so much like Alf, I am not sure if that was a compliment or not! but great fun, never to be made again in this day and age, then it was time for Mr. Tony to leave and for us we were off to bed.
