Straight On To Today's Post,

as I am off first thing for my medical check up,

 we popped over to Sabai Resort as a couple more friends had just arrived, 

 work on the building almost opposite had continued,

 with all of the painting almost completed,

 the crew on one side putting on the final touches,

 then in to meet the two new arrivals, Doc and Uday who very kindly brought over two very nice tops for Diana,

 we all had a soft drink or coffee,

 before making a move for lunch, we walked past the Siam@Siam tower,

 where the crew painting the front of the building were on their way up,

 it looked so high,

 by this stage I would be clinging on to the floor of the gantry,

  but it was just another day at work for these guys,

on our side of the road the entrance to the Big C complex,

 and on the other side the reworked Sabai complex,

 next to the Sabai Empress Hotel,

 we walked past a number of stalls selling fresh fruit products,

 but this was where we were going, Burger King, we were going to go to McDonald's but a change of plan,

meant that we would try a meal here, Diana really likes fast food hence our decision to go to McDonald's which is one of Diana's fast food favourites, but as Diana had not been to a Burger King in Thailand we decided to give it a try, the strange thing is I had never been to a Burger King before so it was a new experience for me too, I have to say it was a pleasant change especially as I opted for onion rings instead of French fries, after saying our farewells to Doc and Uday we made a move for home, in the evening after our meal we watched some of the excellent The Hungry Sailors season 1, followed by a few from Columbo and Cheers, by now we have started series 7, then for us we were off to bed.
