still no signs of any snow,
it appears that most of the UK is covered, except us!
time for a Sunday read and sherry,
and a nice hot sweetcorn soup to start the lunch,
'Cheers!',
instead of a roast today, we decided on pork chops, with gravy for Diana,
sans gravy for myself,
for dessert a pre-Christmas treat,
Diana had bought a couple of mini Christmas puddings,
so plenty of brandy,
and success,
a flaming Christmas pudding,
which was warming up nicely,
extinguish the flames with lashings of fresh cream,
after our meal time for a few movies, but first Diana's advent calendrer,
and for today a eye shadow, then feet up for the first of the movies,
Diana open up our box of The Ultimate Hammer Collection, and chose To The Devil A Daughter, I have to say one of the better offerings from the box, although of course showing its age,
in the evening Red Notice, which we both really enjoyed, totally implausible, but such good fun to watch,
we rounded off the evening with The Guard, which again was a really good watch, with more than a few twists along the way, but why oh why was there so much unnecessary use of the F word? 20 or 30 times OK but why use it so many more times? I guess Mr. Dictionary was not at home when whoever was in charge decided to use it so often, but there it is, a easy going film with a nice ending, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
