Meet THOR 24,

to say it is a one of a kind,

photograph Mike Harrah, is a bit of an understatement, THOR 24 is often referred to as “the most powerful big rig ever built” because of its horsepower rating (3,974 horsepower) reached through a 24-cylinder engine with 12 superchargers,

photograph Hotcars, the truck is powered by two 852 cubic-inch V12 diesel engines and reaches a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h),

photograph Hotcarsamazingly the truck has a Hawker Jet Helicopter engine acts as an auxiliary generator powering features like a 40-inch television and 1,500-watt audio system, because the front part of the truck is so unusually long, four cameras mounted on the front bumper feed live footage to four 4×6-inch display screens mounted above the windshield so the driver can actually see in front of them, it apparently took Harrah seven years and thousands of hours to build and cost over $7 million,

and for any petrolheads out there above is a video of the super truck,
the truck has actually been sold, as can be seen in the video below,

I can not find any mention of the truck being used as a everyday transport on the roadsnot being American I have no idea if the truck is road legal there, in the UK I have no idea, but it could be, however with roads as narrow and parking so restrictive in many parts of the UK I guess it would not be a great idea to pop down to the coast in it, even if you could park it in London!
