The First Time I Heard A Theremin,

it was in the soundtrack of a film,

this is one here, a Moog Etherwave Theremin as it happens,

 the film was that great sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet, I have always had a hankering for one, so if I see mention of one on the Internet I normally have a look, so when I heard of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" being played on 167 Matryomins, I just had to have a look, I should say a Matryomin is a “one antenna Theremin” which is inserted into a Matryoshika figure,
