Kevin Hehir, 48, snapped the cub among gravestones in a cemetery in Chorley, Lancs. He said: “I thought black foxes were a myth.
“It was like the devil was looking at me.”
Old wives’ tales say sightings of black animals, especially dogs, spell bad luck.
But TV wildlife expert Terry Nutkins said: “This is tremendously exciting. I’ve never heard such a thing and I can’t explain it.”
