and after that a show at a music cafe,
but first the meal at The Factory,
I had a steak with home fries, 169 baht,
the girls had a selection of Thai food,
whilst Mick had a T bone steak for 199 baht which he pronounced delicious, also on the menu was a selection of basic meals, pork, chicken or fish steaks with home fries and fresh vegetables all for only 49 baht, at first I thought the portions would be small as the price was so low, but not so! a couple on a table near us had a pork steak and it looked really impressive, if you are in Udon Thanni look up The Factory, Nitaya will make you very welcome, the food is top rate and cooked by a French chef,
before we left the girls just had to have another tequila!
in between The Factory and our hotel was this music cafe,
we all had a drink and watched the show,
the show consisted of a number of singers, not lip sinking but really singing, and of course they all wore pretty costumes,
we just laid back and enjoyed the show,
there were some dance numbers as well,
but the sign on the back of the stage was a little out of date, or a little early for next year!
and a gentleman singer for the ladies!
one of the locals came over to say Hi,
this is the full line up,
and a solo spot for the last number as we left, a slightly different way to spend the evening, but still great fun, Diana had never been to a music cafe, the good news is that it was not a karaoke! then back to the hotel for a good nights rest.
