that is a company that sells one product a day,
for instance to day you can buy this iRobot Scooba 380 Floor Washing Robot with 2 Virtual Walls, Charging Base and Scooba Storage Mat for just 24 hours or until the number of products in stock has sold out, at less than retail price anywhere, so how do they sell products so cheap? well here is the blurb from their web site,
'Woot is a gaggle of unique companies. Or half a gaggle, at least. Woot Services LLC operates the websites (as seen across the top of this page) and keeps the motor purring. Woot Workshop LLC provides creative content and mans the stereo for the ride. And Woot, Inc. sells the merchandise and pays for the gas. The aforementioned websites, of which Woot.com is the alpha URL, specialise in great new deals every day. They encourage (almost) unfiltered community discussion about that cheap stuff, starting with our own outrageous product descriptions,'
sometimes products sell out in less than a day other times there are so many of that one product for sale they will be in stock for some time, seems like a great idea, especially if today you wanted a iRobot Scooba 380 for instance, the terms and conditions need a bit of a read through, like the question,
'will I receive customer support like I'm used to?'
the answer,
'not quite. If you buy something you don't end up liking or you have what marketing people call "buyer's remorse," sell it on Craigslist or at a garage sale. It's likely you'll make money doing this and save everyone a hassle. If the item doesn't work, first, find out what you're doing wrong. Yes, we know you think the item is bad, but it's probably your fault,'
but it must a worth a look every day for a bargain, you never know tomorrow there could be just the thing you are looking for at a knock down price!
