fishing at Mamak Fishing Park,
we parked up opposite one of the fishing huts,
it was dull and raining when we arrived and continued to do so all day,
the good news was that there were no dogs here so Maureen brought Ta-Taa along with us,
the rain was not particularly hard, just persistent,
Diana bought some fresh fruit to nibble on,
it had been raining on and off for the past few days, which had brought out some fungi from some of the logs that made the jetty,
I do not have a clue what specie they are,
but looking at the colour of them,
I do not think it wise to eat them!
then Nick was into a fish,
it put up a really good fight,
but he landed it at last,
it was a big one,
the bad news was that it was one of the fish that are not good to eat so back it went,
Ta-Taa was totally underwhelmed,
Diana was happy that the wi-fi was on again today,
it has been recorded a few times,
but this was the first time I had ever seen an example of it,
I thought this Frangipani or Plumeria as they are sometimes known looked nice with rain drops on it,
I heard a noise in one of the Jasmine bushes behind us,
the only thing I could see was a well disguised lizard, we finished fishing and made our way back to Nick and Maureen's, the score one to Nick and none to me, it was a slow day!
all of the rain had made some of the flowers outside Nick and Maureen's house,
and nice they looked too,
similar to a bird of paradise plant but not quite the same,
the pool looked crystal clear,
Maureen had prepared a roast dinner for us all,
roast pork with lovely crispy crackling, followed by cheese and biscuits,
after dinner we had our game of Monopoly, which by some chance I happened to win, more by luck than by judgement,
which left Ta-Taa totally unimpressed, we said our goodbyes to Nick and Maureen with many thanks to them for a lovely day and evening,
as we were nearby on our way home we called in to see Mike and Riza in their new home, Mike has been very busy on a few projects plus the house move meant we had not seen much of them but things are settling down now for them,
and of course Pretty Kitty made the move well, we said our goodbyes to Mike and Riza, then home where it was by now quiet late, so for us we were off to bed.
