but whilst eating breakfast,
one of my teeth decided it was all too much for it, so off to the dentist Dr. Chanis opposite the Friendship supermarket,
it is easy to spot as there is always a seamstress sitting outside,
200 baht a bit of drilling and glue and we were ready to go, this is the view from the dentist looking towards the market entrance on the left,
just mind the boiling oil on the way in,
a nice selection of jewellery from 99 baht,
I decided to buy Diana a new dress, modelled by the stall owner and her friend,
it is the rainy season so plenty of water lilies for sale,
next to the live fish stall there is one selling birds, rabbits and hamsters amongst other animals,
the fish stall not so busy this week,
Diana returned with some fresh fruit,
the view from where we sit for our ice coffee, I was taken by the clothes stall opposite,
I liked the symmetry of the circles on a swimming costume with the lady on another costume almost appearing to be hiding behind it,
whilst in the dentist I had received a call, from none other than Glen, so he joined us for a coffee,
and accompanied us to the night market,
the sun going down looking towards Jomtien,
some light clouds but no rain,
opposite the bar Yamaha motorcycles were making a display,
the new sign still standing,
the pet aisle looked a bit empty,
sunset over the market,
and then guess who I bumped into? none other than Russ and Mr. Tony,
we had a chat then I made my way to the bar,
but I had to have a look at the bikes first,
they make my 60,000+ kilometre Kawasaki look so old,
a pretty in pink one for Diana,
I am not sure about the blue and yellow though,
there were a few people at the bar, but who was that at the end of it?
Glen had taken a motorbike taxi to get to the market,
we were then joined by Russ and Mr. Tony, so we put the world to rights,
I have mentioned before that some times groups of sellers walk around the market, tonight was no exception as this group got ready for the off,
we were going to buy some food on sticks, but the seller did not show up, so a quick stop in Tesco Express for some fresh chicken,
Glen had left to meet up with a friend so Russ and Mr. Tony called round, Diana made a delicious chicken massaman curry with rice,
in the background we put on a DVD, mostly underwater,
with occasional forays to the surface,
Russ then made a move to town so we had a snack of some fresh fruit,
this was the BluRay we put on in the background, Antarctica: An Adventure of a Different Nature, but after Russ left the three of us,
watched another instalment of Judge John Deed, a great series, by now it was past midnight, so saying our goodbyes to Mr. Tony we were off to bed.
